THE GREENHOUSE EFFECT
The irony is that the "GREENHOUSE" can come to us as both a positive and a negative. We use it to grow plants and flowers of extraordinary beauty because it traps both heat and humidity inside its plastic casing while at the same time it has become a symbol of CLIMATE CHANGE in a mostly negative way. I would think that the real truth lies somewhere in between. The two sets of images in this link take us both outside and around the plastic domes and then back inside where the energy of plant life is sustained and transforms into the very stuff that keeps us all alive. The images were made at Deruiter Nursery in Three Oaks, Michigan over the course of this summer.
